Summer Concert Series in Truckee and Tahoe City

The full swing of summer is right around the corner and with that comes the sound of FREE summer concerts both in Truckee and Tahoe City.  These are great events for the whole family to join in and be part of the community as you dance the night away or sit back, relax and listen to the beats.

Tahoe City: Commons Beach

When: 

Sunday - June 22 through September 7th 

4pm till 7pm (some shows start early at 3pm)

Where: 

Commons Beach Park

What: This 12 week concert series brings in local, regional and national performers.  This is an event that locals look forward to every week.  With a large lawn area, beach and playground, this is the perfect spot to spend a Sunday afternoon.  Local food and drink vendors are available with delicious options such as BBQ, ice cream, sushi and more.  You are also welcome to bring your own food and drink.

Truckee: Regional Park: "Salty" Gebhardt Amphitheater

Wednesday – June 18th through Mid-August

Regional Park Amphitheater

What: This outdoor amphitheater with elevated lawn spanning up from the stage is the perfect setting for a Wednesday night community gathering featuring an array of fun music.  With a decomposed granite dance floor in front of the stage, don't forget your dancing shoes!  

Pack up the family, a low back chair or blanket, a picnic dinner and something to drink every Wednesday and Sunday night this summer. Don't miss out, there is some serious fun to be had!
