The options for activities and recreation are seemingly endless in the Tahoe area, especially during long summer days. The fun does not have to end just because the sun sets. This summer, Tahoe Star Tours is hosting a series of “Stargazing” events at Northstar on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, sometimes in conjunction with meteor shower viewings or other amazing celestial events. Events will occur between June 14th and September 1st.
Every event will include a laser tour of the night sky and the opportunity for guests to look through high powered telescopes and be directed in how to find major constellations, planets and even see other galaxies. Prepare to be awe-struck by all that surrounds us every night that is often taken for granted.
The star gazing events will include poetry and a Star Guide to direct the evenings activities. Attendees will enjoy comfortable seating, blankets, hot cocoa, s’mores and more to complement an unforgettable night.
