Open With Ski Patrol
Get the first tracks on a powder day or on the fresh corduroy at 7:30am. Yes, you can experience the good stuff (without the hard work of actually being part of ski patrol). Sign up by 3pm the day before you would like to “Open with Ski Patrol”. Meet with a patroller at the top of the gondola at 7:30am and ski with one of these mountain masters before the lifts are open to the public. There is also an option to help patrol with the closing sweep at the end of the day.
Meet the Mountain with Mountain Safety
Want to figure out this mountain the easy way? On Saturday & Sundays in January at 10am and 1pm, Northstar’s Mountain Safety Team is offering guided mountain tours. Meet at the top of the Big Springs Gondola and let your Northstar adventure begin!
Grooming Show & Tell
Every Saturday in January, Northstar’s Grooming Team will be holding a Cat Show & Tell from 10am to 2pm at the top of the Zephyr lift. Come and find out how Northstar creates and keeps such great groomed trails. Drivers will be available to answer any questions for guests.
Ripperoo Parades
Come celebrate the end of the day with Northstar’s mascot, Ripperoo (the dog). Every Saturday at 4pm, he will lead his ski school friends in a parade through the Village at Northstar. No need to bring anything but a smile. Noise makers and toys will be provided for this dance around the Village!
tōst
Every day at 2pm, Northstar welcomes you to join fellow skiers and snowboarders for a complimentary glass of bubbly on East Ridge. Raise a glass and celebrate friends, snow and all things Tahoe.
S’moresWhat is the perfect snack for after the on-mountain champagne toast? Head down to the Village for s'mores around the ice rink. Every day at 3:30pm, the Northstar team delivers this delicious treat to all resort guests. Cozy up next to the fire pits by the ice rink and chow down!
