Winter WonderGrass Festival at Squaw Valley




Starting this Friday at Squaw Valley, the Winter WonderGrass festival will kick off with a wide array of unbelievable world renowned bluegrass and acoustic musicians. The three day festival will host artists on 4 different stages at various times throughout the day. The venue couldn’t be better with the peaks of Squaw Valley as a backdrop, and local California and Nevada craft breweries serving their tastiest beer.





There are an variety of options for purchasing festival tickets. Some include skiing, beer tasting, a locally inspired dinner each night and access to the festival. Sounds like a good day. In addition, there will be late night shows all across the Tahoe region as artists play at local venues such as Alibi Ale Works in Truckee and the Hacienda in Tahoe City. Tickets for these events will be sold separately.

A Tram to Table dinner event will occur in conjunction with the Winter WonderGrass festival as well. After a ride on the Tram that takes people 2000’ up the mountain, guests will enjoy beer/wine/spirit tasting from Breckenridge Distillery, Stem Ciders and Long Meadow Ranch Winery. After passed apps a casual 3 course dinner is served while listening to live music.

WinterWondergrass is a collection of some of the world’s best musicians. The festival has several stops throughout the country, and Squaw Valley is the place to be this weekend to soak in some amazing music and to enjoy all that the mountains have to offer.
