Truckee Art Galleries

Truckee Art Galleries

Truckee has a ever growing art community with many talented artists calling Truckee and Lake Tahoe home.  Downtown Truckee has become home to many art galleries that showcase these talents in a retail setting for consumers to enjoy.  If you are looking to decorate your home, check out some of the local galleries for a splash of color, inspiration and one of a kind statements.

Art Obsessions officially opened its door in June 2011 in Truckee's Historic Downtown District. The gallery quickly gained recognition as a premier source for works of renowned regional and international artists and established itself as a primary source for limited edition prints.

Art Obsessions Gallery is also now a purveyor of fine wine. You can enhance your art experience by tasting some of the best regional wines that the area has to offer. The wine bar is open Friday - Sunday during gallery hours and by appointment.

The Carmel Gallery features a stunning collection of fine art landscape photography by Olof & Elizabeth Carmel.  From Napa to Itally and back to Tahoe the imagery, color and unbelievable magic captured in the artwork will undoubtedly impress.

Riverside Studios is an inspiring art gallery owned and operated by five artists.  The shop prides itself on representing hand made, local goods with over 25 artists from the Tahoe region in areas of sculpture, printmaking, painting, ceramics, textiles and more.  In the heart Old Town Truckee, this gallery is one you will want to visit every time you come to town.

The Bolam Gallery is owned and operated by Andrew Bolam, a local artist known for his cowboy and indian themes.  The gallery also represents the finest local and nationally acclaimed artists, specializing in traditional western subject matter re-imagined with a modern viewpoint.  Stop in and see Andrew Bolam and Annie Hooker in action as the gallery also doubles as a working studio.
