North Tahoe Outdoor Summer Concerts 2016

North Tahoe Outdoor Summer Concerts 2016

The temperatures are rising all week and the summer days are getting hot.  It's time to enjoy the perfect Tahoe summer nights while listening to music under the stars. There are free concerts almost every night of the week throughout the summer.  Bring a blanket or low-back chair and set up with family and friends.

Tuesdays
On Tuesdays there are 2 great options for live music:

Squaw Valley
Bluesdays Tuesdays
The Village at Squaw Valley features acclaimed blues musicians.
6pm – 8:30pm
June 14 – September 6

Gray's Crossing
PJ’s Live Music Series
PJ's Bar and Grill hosts bands from far and near with gorgeous mountain views and amazing food on the Gray’s Crossing golf course.
5:30pm - 7:30pm
June 21 - September 7

Wednesdays

Truckee
Music in the Park
One of Truckee’s most treasured summer events.  Located at the Regional Park Amphitheater just above the Truckee River, bring a picnic and enjoy your favorite local band.
6:30pm – 8:00pm
June 22 – August 31

Thursdays

Truckee
Truckee keeps the fun going mid-week as Truckee Thursdays sets up a stage in the middle of the street fair backing to the rail road tracks.  With bands like Jo Mama and Andy Frasco, Downtown Truckee will be dancing.

5pm – 8:30pm
June 9 – August 18

Fridays

Kings Beach
Get ready for the weekend and head to Lake Tahoe for Music on the Beach on Fridays.  Sink your feet into the sand with a great band in front of you and the summer sunset over Lake Tahoe in the distance.
6:30pm - 8:30pm
June 17 – September 2

Saturdays
Northstar
On Saturday nights, make your way up to the Village at Northstar for live music on the main stage overlooking the roller skating rink.  Sit back and relax around the fire pits with cocktails (or s’mores) from the Cabana Bars or strap on your skates and take a spin to the beats.
3pm – 6pm
May 28th – August 27th

Sundays

Tahoe City
Sunday afternoons at the Concert Series at Commons Beach are my favorite.  Get there early for a good spot on the lawn and get ready for a family friendly dance party. With Lake Tahoe as a backdrop, a playground for the kids and food and beer tents, there is no better way to spend a Sunday evening.
4pm – 7pm
June 19 – September 4th

There is never a shortage of things to do in Tahoe in the summer. Live music is a perfect way to end another epic Tahoe summer day.
