For the past 68 years, Warren Miller has produced phenomenal
winter films that are released each fall season. Warren Miller himself is
now 93 years old and does not have a part in the films, but Warren Miller Entertainment
still produces one feature-length ski film per year. As early as 1956,
Miller used to rent show halls near ski resorts so that he could film the next
year’s footage during the day and show the current film in the evening.
Now the films are shown all over the world from Australia to China, in
thousands of locations big and small and can even be downloaded and streamed
online.
This year is no exception and the Warren Miller event is coming to
a venue near you! Don’t miss the premier of "Line Of Descent".
Get fired up for the season by joining in the excitement at one of the
public shows- there is no better way to get ready for the epic winter ahead.
Warren Miller is an iconic ski and snowbarding filmmaker. His annual films are known for their authenticity, humor and for featuring the top talent in the industry. With his first movie "Deep and Light" in 1950, Warren Miller earned his place as the most recognizable filmmaker in action sports. It is no wonder that every year it has become a tradition for many to go and see the new Warren Miller production. This year, venues across the country and around the world will be hosting Warren Miller’s 67th film "Here There & Everywhere". With high hopes for a good winter all across the country in ski towns everywhere, there will be sell out shows.
This year’s film will showcase the talents of over 30 athletes, 5 who call Tahoe their home: JT Holmes, Amie Engerbretson, Jonny Moseley, Daron Rahlves and Jeremy Jones. The film will take you to places far and near, typical and not so typical. Crested Butte and Fenway Park (yes, the baseball field). Eastern Greenland, Switzerland, and right back to Squaw Valley, USA. If you are ready to get pumped up for the 2016/2017 winter season, this is sure to help. Look up a time and venue near you! The weather is changing, the days are getting shorter and the leaves are starting to change from green to orange, yellow and red. Can you feel it? Winter is coming and we are all getting excited for the skiing and snowboarding in Tahoe! Nothing gets you more pumped up for the snow than attending the premier for one of the newest ski and snowboard films. With the energy of the winter loving crowd around you, the pearly white snow on the screen in front of you and the pro athletes mingling through the crowd, signing autographs and posing for photos, a smile is sure to show on your face. There are so many to choose from and worth seeing as many as you can. Below are my top picks for Truckee and San Francisco.
No Turning Back Producer: Warren Miller This is the 65th Warren Miller film. The Warren Miller films always have a little something for everyone including skiing and snowboarding, backcountry and resort, and a bit of history as the films dig into the archive for some creative flashbacks.

This is the last installment of a trilogy of Deeper, Further, Higher from pro snowboarder, Jeremy Jones. The wold premier at Squaw Valley was on September 9th with a record crowd showing up to watch under the iconic KT-22 chairlift. This film will leave you with your mouth wide open and your head spinning. You don’t have to see the first two to jump right into this one but all three are truly a work of art showcasing Jone’s love for the mountains and how one man can push the limits of humanity.

It will be interesting to see how they will set a snowboard movie but I am sure it will be a good party and the raffle is always packed with rad winter gear.
